I don’t agree with our nation’s foreign policy and I especially despise the tendency for military adventurism - but I am also constantly amazed that men and women will knowingly put themselves in harm’s way in order to ensure the continutaion of our heritage of freedom. Now, if we could just get our elected officials to respect the liberty these brave few willingly stand up to defend.

Hello. My apologies for sending to you this message in this format, as a blog-post. I was unable to find your email anywhere else. I realize that this thread was meant to be about the Veterans, and let it be noted I mean no disrespect for them, or their service to this nation.
My reason for writing to you, however, concerns am image you have on your CafePress account. In particular, your “Support Marriage Equality” image.
Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Alex Peak, President of the College Libertarians of Towson, at Towson University, Maryland. Next semester, on Valentine’s Day, we’re holding a Rally For Marriage Equality. I wish to get the right from you to use your image for I feel that, not only is it astetically pleasing, but is very symbolic of what we wish to achieve.
The Rally won’t just be run by the College Libertarians of Towson (CLT). The Towson Campus Greens and Queer Student Union are both involved. Though, the CLT message will definitely be the Libertarian one: getting government out of marriage.
I plan, with your permission, to use the image on all our advertisements, in every flyer. If I can’t get any brocures from the national party regarding marriage equality, I will make some Libertarian brocures as well, and will use the heart on that as well.
